We hired Brooks and his team to paint the exterior of our 20year old stucco/brick home. We had MPV paint our exterior stucco, some exterior doors and a metal staircase on our Arbour Lake home in August 2012. We were very pleased with the service we received. The quote was thorough, it was honoured fully and without hassle, the work was done on time by a crew of professional people. We had two minor deficiencies upon completion. These were pointed out to Brooks and resolved the same day. Our neighbours were respected, our yard was kept clean and we remain very happy with the result. The exterior of our Springbank home, build 15 years ago, was a salmon pink stucco. Loved the house and location but hated the color. We were very concerned about painting a maintenance free surface but after a lot of online research and talking with paint specialists we became convinced that painting stucco was a viable option if the correct paints were used by a firm experienced in applying premium elastomeric paint.

We contacted several reputable firms and received estimates. Brooks responded quickly to our online request and came to our house and prepared a detailed lump sum estimate. He provided a long list of houses that he had recently painted which we were able to view as well as several references which we contacted. His estimate was the lowest of the firms that provided quotes based on the premium product (do not consider saving a few dollars using lower grade paint). Given it was early October and we had only a 5 day window to complete the job before cold weather set in I had some reservations about starting the work and not finishing on time. Day 1 - house washed. Day 2 - house prepped and taped. Day 3 - house painted 2 coats. Day 4 - house trim, garage doors and third coat touch ups completed. Day 5 cleanup and the finished product looked outstanding. The change in the appearance of the house is remarkable.

My recommendation if you are considering painting your stucco home, do your homework, buy the correct paint, and ensure you get a quote from Mountain View Painters before you making your selection.

We were very happy with the quality of the work - our stucco looks great and there were very few touchups required. The painting crew was very clean and quiet; each day they tidied up so we could have access to our yard, which was really important as pet owners! Last summer, Mountain View Painters painted my neighbour's home across the street. They did a great job, in a very efficient manner with a skilled group of workers. As my house is around the same age, I decided it was time to get my house done as well. I am very pleased with the results! I think this was a good investment in maintaining the value of my home. I decided to also get the exterior doors and brick work done at the same time which also really updated the look. Someday when I go to sell my home, this will be another selling point. On top of that, I know that their paint job has helped to seal the exterior from allowing moisture in. My wife and I could not be happier with the job done by MVP painting the outside of our house. The stucco patches are impossible to differentiate from the rest of exterior. Thy did a fastidious job masking ensured there was no overspray. The employees were polite and professional. The quality control done by Brooks was excellent and the final result was 10 out of 10. I was very pleased with the detail that the painters paid during the whole painting process including taking down the popcorn ceiling, finishing, sanding, and painting of all the oak cabinets and paneling, baseboards, window and door mouldings. We contracted Mountain View Painters to do a complete make-over of our stucco house in Cochrane in the summer of 2012. MVP Calgary came into our cul-de-sac early last summer to do exterior painting to our neighbour's house. Once we saw the final outcome we were so impressed that we enquired about a bid on our place. Brooks approached us with a professional mannerism and great enthusiasm. So after getting the breakdown and final for the job we decided to go ahead with it. His crews were friendly and receptive to questions pertaining to the job. They all demonstrated that they were fully engaged with the work and that they had the team work ethic down to a science. They came onsite and began all of the prep work and finished up most of it on the initial day. The next day they were executing their system and the efficiencies of the process were obvious as the first pass on the house exterior was finished in good time. We were excited to see the job completed as it was such a fantastic face lift for the house. Another day went by and all but some minor details and clean up were left for the crew to complete. Once the job was complete Brooks walked us through it and made sure that we were satisfied with their efforts. We are so pleased with the outcome. The house looks more contemporary and it is physically better protected against the elements. We feel confident that we received the best efforts of the crews. It was well worth the investment! I was out walking my dog and happened to pass Craig and his MVP crew working on a house. I was immediately drawn to the work because it was a stucco house and was getting a remarkable transformation at the hands of the painting crew. Craig stopped and spoke with me.
